2.4 L MIVEC CLEAN DIESEL 181 HP

The Commonrail MIVEC Clean diesel 2.4 liter engine gives you 181 horsepower and the aluminum alloy cylinder and cylinder head are lightweight, durable, and lets air flow through easily for a rapid cool-down.

Mitsubishi’s specific technology is ready to serve all road conditions in addition with ability to change from 2H to 4H in Full-time All wheel Control to increase safety in slippery condition. Moreover 4HLc or 4LLc are there to serve Off-Road condition as well.

Only the rear wheels receive power. This mode is best suited for normal driving conditions.

 

4WD control with the flexibility of a center differential with Torque sensing, gives ready traction on changing conditions or surfaces. Normally operating with a 40:60 torque split, it can react to traction loss by automatically redistributing power up to a 50:50 split.

With the center differential locked to distribute equal torque to all four wheels, this mode is suitable for rough back roads or hazardous weather conditions.

The four-wheel traction 0f 4HLc shifts into low gear for maximum torque when going off-road or driving through heavy snow and mud.

SUSPENSION AND BRAKE

The Front Double-wishbone with coil springs give you traction for all surfaces for better driving efficiency.

REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK

The electrically-controlled Rear Differential Lock has a button on the central console for you to activate it to send equal engine power to both rear wheels. It works with the Center Differential Lock so you can drive through rugged terrain with ease.

Program the tailgate to open, close, or lock automatically with your smartphone (within 20 minutes).
• VEHICLE REMINDER
Your smartphone can notify you of forgotten operations as you leave the vehicle, such as locking the doors and turning off and headlights. You can also see activity statuses, such as the on/off status of the headlamps or hazard lights. You can even manage certain features right from your smartphone, such as shutting off the hazard lights and locking the doors (only if they are tightly shut).
• OPERATIONAL ASSIST
You will be able to troubleshoot, using your smartphone, why you cannot lock the vehicle. Reasons may include key not detected, door(s) opened, engine on, or key inside.

Information provided include fuel economy, distance traveled, and vehicle use history.
