Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Invites Thais to Experience Full Line-up of All-New Mitsubishi Triton at the 40th Thailand International Motor Expo 2023

BANGKOK – November 29, 2023: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will display the full range of the All-New Mitsubishi Triton to Thai customers for the first time at the 40th Thailand International Motor Expo 2023. Highlights include the All-New Mitsubishi Triton ATHLETE and the All-New Mitsubishi Triton Double Cab Ultra 4WD AT, both featuring Mitsubishi Motors’ legendary Super Select 4WD II that offers Full-Time All Wheel Control, newly-developed seven drive modes, and Active Yaw Control (AYC). With the ultra-unique Super Select 4WD II, Mitsubishi Motors is the first ever brand among Thailand’s pickup truck players to offer Full-Time All Wheel Control across multiple variants of its pickup truck lineup. Customers can also explore the long-awaited All-New Mitsubishi Triton Low Rider models and the All-New Triton Mega Cab Plus.

Equipped with the innovative, larger, and stronger ‘Mega Frame’ chassis, and newly designed engines offering higher outputs and optimum fuel economy, the All-New Mitsubishi Triton gives excellent drivability, leading-class road handling, active safety, and security on all terrains. At the Play Zone, designed for customers with more adventurous desires, the main highlight is the top-of-the-range All-New Mitsubishi Triton ATHLETE that comes with a new Hyper Power X2 engine featuring a two-stage turbocharger that produces 204 ps and 470 Nm. Designed for premium adventure lifestyle, this pickup truck will satisfy and impress pickup enthusiasts with its eye-catching, dynamic, and sporty ‘Beast Mode’ design concept, combining agility with Mitsubishi Motors' robust design to create an imposing look that also expresses power and toughness. The design concept recently won the Good Design Award 2023, organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.

As the epitome of Mitsubishi Motors-ness, the All-New Mitsubishi Triton ATHLETE also provides leading-edge safety technology with Mitsubishi’s Diamond Sense with Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Auto LED High Beams (AHB) and Multi-Around Monitor (MAM). Combined, these systems provide a 360-degree vehicle movement monitoring with AI-controlled sensors and radar. It also features an Electric Power Steering (EPS) that enhances agile and responsive driving, offering full control at drivers’ fingertips.

All variants of the All-New Mitsubishi Triton Double Cab 4WD are equipped with Mitsubishi Motors’ legendary Super Select 4WD II system. The most unique feature is the Full-Time All-Wheel Control capability, allowing the pickup truck to be driven in ‘4H’ mode at all time. Mitsubishi Motors is the first ever brand among Thailand’s pickup truck players to make Full-Time All Wheel Control available across multiple variants of its pickup truck range. The Play Zone will also feature the All-New Mitsubishi Triton Double Cab Ultra 4WD AT, and all Low Rider models, including the Mega Cab Low Rider, and Double Cab Low Rider, which are ready for delivery by the first half of December 2023. Mitsubishi Motors will also showcase the benefits of MITSUBISHI CONNECT which delivers wireless connectivity and control via My MITSUBISHI CONNECT for iOS and Android platforms. The system offers added convenience and safety with special functions including Emergency Assistance (SOS) via ‘e-call’ and Automatic Crash Notification. Functions including the air-conditioning system, Door Lock/Unlock, and Lights-on can also be remotely controlled.
