Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Launches Industry-First ‘Maintenance Certificate’ to Raise Resale Value of Its Vehicles
Under ‘Good Car, Good Maintenance, Good Resale Value’ Promise
Bangkok – July 14, 2023: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has launched ‘Maintenance Certificate,’ a first-in-industry initiative to raise resale value of customers’ Mitsubishi Motors vehicles to underline its commitment to continuously maximize customer satisfaction as well as enhance sales and aftersales service effectiveness under the promise of ‘Good Car, Good Maintenance, Good Resale Value’.
Mr. Yasunori Koyanagi, Vice President, Global Parts and Accessories Division, Aftersales Division and Field Service Division of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said, “When purchasing or selling a car, customers consider various factors including vehicle’s periodic maintenance history, warranty condition, and mileage. These factors significantly impact the buyers’ confidence and decision-making process. Vehicles with a good service history and comprehensive details, especially from the manufacturer and official dealers, will have more chances to be considered than cars without them.”
“Thus, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has initiated the ‘Maintenance Certificate,’ which is an official service center certification from Mitsubishi Motors provided to customers. This document contains detailed information about the car, including periodic service history, warranty period, and mileage to confirm that a particular Mitsubishi Motors vehicle has undergone proper scheduled maintenance and checks-up. It increases confidence and enhances the value of buying and selling Mitsubishi Motors cars. It also reflects of our commitment to continuously enhance the sales and aftersales service effectiveness after earning Thailand’s top spot in Sales Service Satisfaction and After Sales Service Satisfaction from Thailand Automotive Quality Award (TAQA) for two years in a row since 2020,” added Mr. Koyanagi.
