Mitsubishi Motors’ Customers Enjoy Supreme Mitsubishi Motorsports Experience at ‘MITMILE Festival 2022’ Nationwide Proving Mitsubishi RALLIART DNAs of Performance, Safety & Comfort

Bangkok – 2 November 2022: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. successfully launches its ‘MITMILE Festival 2022’ event and welcomes its customers with supreme motorsports experience while demonstrating Mitsubishi RALLIART DNAs in all of its vehicles’ robust performance, advanced safety technology and comfortable drivability. The ‘MITMILE Festival 2022’ event is touring all regions to spread the joy and thrills throughout Thailand. The next station of MITMILE Festival 2022 will be held at DD Land Market in Ayutthaya from 5-6 November 2022.

At the MITMILE Festival 2022, the test tracks have been particularly designed to test the limits of 2WD and 4WD Mitsubishi vehicles including an eight meter-high bridge with a steep gradient of 42% that will underline the competence of Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Hill Descent Control (HDC) systems. There is also a deep water station to test wading capabilities.

Motorsport fans will also be thrilled to meet with Chayapon ‘Ohm’ Yotha, Rally driver for Team Mitsubishi RALLIART, and enjoy hot laps rides which he shows the performance of the Mitsubishi Triton Rally Car. Moreoever, visitors will also experience breathtaking excitement, including hi-speed twisting and turning gyhkhana, and daring driving demonstrations by professional drivers. Chayaphon and Team Mitsubishi RALLIART will participate in the Asian Cross Country Rally (AXCR) 2022 from 21 to 26 November 2022
“In rally racing competition, it is important to speed through the course for long distance, which means the rally car must have great performance,be highly agile and very comfortable for drivers. I have full confidence in the Mitsubishi Triton Rally Car that comes with full-time 4WD along with a robust and responsive suspension. My buddy, Mitsubishi Triton Rally Car, will be able to overcome all kinds of roads and surfaces side-by-side with me,” said Chayaphon.

MITMILE Festival 2022 will provide Mitsubishi customers and prospects with a unique motoring adventure with special activities and entertainment that families of all ages can enjoy for the entire day. In addition to the special test ride with the professional drivers, customers can test-drive various Mitsubishi models including the all-new Mitsubishi Xpander, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, and Mitsubishi Triton RALLIART Double-cab. Visitors can also explore the premium-cabin Mitsubishi Triton S-Limited with 2.4L. Common Rail Direct Injection, Aluminum Alloy Block engine, 4-cylinder DOHC 16 v, with a Variable Turbo Charger & Intercooler, resulting in a maximum output power of 181 PS at 3,500 rpm, and maximum output torque of 430 N-m at 2,500 rpm.

This engine is renowned as one of the most reliable in the world for its excellent innovation, its light weight, and tough, durable performance, yielding a typical 20% improvement in fuel economy. Sporting a unique exterior look and feel with a ‘Café Racer’ theme, it offers a variety of superior features for maximum cabin comfort including Power Seats, Automatic Transmission with Sport Mode, Automatic air-conditioning system, seven-inch Touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and Cruise Control that makes long-distance driving much easier and more pleasant.

The next station of MITMILE Festival 2022 will be held in Ayutthaya from 5-6 November 2022, followed by Chiang Rai, and Nakhon Si Thammarat. These events will feature a mini-concert by ‘Golf F.Hero’ to awaken the winner’s spirits in each and every one of us.
