Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Invites Customers to Revive Coral Reef in ‘THE EXCLUSIVE STORY - EP.4 D[R]IVE FOR REVIVAL’ Special Trip

BANGKOK – February 27, 2025: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has invited customers to participate in reviving coral reef with its special trip, ‘THE EXCLUSIVE STORY - EP.4 D[R]IVE FOR REVIVAL’ at Samaesarn Cape, Sattahip in Chonburi. While underlining its core value of ‘Everyday Adventure’ by allowing customers to enjoy any journey with new experiences, the event also reinforced the brand’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

Ms. Ritsuko Kaneko, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience & Innovation, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., commented: “This event emphasizes our commitment, aimed at providing exclusive experiences to customers to enjoy every journey with our high-quality and eco-friendly cars as their reliable partner that changes every day into something exciting and fulfilling while ensuring safety and comfort for both drivers and passengers under concept, ‘Everyday Adventure’, it is also in line with our CSR commitment in the area of environment.”

The activity started with a lecture from the expert from the Samaesarn Marine Science and Conservation Camp, where participants learned about coral reef biology, the environmental challenges coral reefs face, and restoration practices. Following the session, customers were trained in the use of snorkeling equipment and basic surface diving techniques before heading offshore to take an active part in coral reef restoration efforts.

After the activity, participants enjoyed relaxing moments with beverages and cake as well as beautiful sea view at Palyn Cafe & Eatery Samaesarn, a renowned café in Sattahip, before gathering for an exclusive dinner party featuring live music and other engaging activities.

Mr. Peerapat Sripraman

owner of a MITSUBISHI XPANDER CROSS HEV, shared: “Although I have participated in many CSR activities before, this is the first time I’ve joined with fellow Mitsubishi car owners. I am very impressed and enjoyed it a lot. I quite value environmental consciousness. So before deciding to buy a car, I did consider EVs. However, since it was not convenient to install a charging station, I found that the XPANDER CROSS HEV fits my lifestyle better, both in terms of being environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient. I like its feature that allows me to choose the driving modes. I frequently use the Normal and EV modes, which help make driving more energy-efficient.”

Mr. Suppathin Rodkaew

who owns a MITSUBISHI PAJERO SPORT, said: “I frequently travel, both back home to Trang and Surat Thani, as well as to the beaches in Bangsaen and Pattaya. This trip is my first time participating in an event with Mitsubishi Motors, and I was very impressed. The staff took great care of us and was extremely friendly. Samaesarn is another beautiful beach destination with snorkeling spots where you can see coral reefs. It was a new experience for me. Personally, I chose the Pajero Sport because it suits my family’s travel needs, and since I’m planning to have a child, I need a vehicle with more space. Additionally, the full-time 4WD system gives me more confidence when driving uphill or traveling on various road conditions.”
