BANGKOK – February 17, 2025: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Labour to Establish a Safety Culture in Workplaces, marking a significant step in fostering a culture of safety in workplaces in Thailand. The signing of the MOU further underscores Mitsubishi Motors Thailand’s dedication to upholding the highest safety standards in its operations while contributing to the Ministry of Labour’s mission to enhance workplace safety across industries in Thailand.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to Establish a Safety Culture in Workplaces outlines key objectives aimed at enhancing workplace safety standards nationwide. Under the agreement, the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (DLPW) will lead a safety campaign, ‘Safety Culture Together,’ aimed at reducing major workplace accidents to fewer than one in 1,000 employees and fatal accidents to fewer than three in 100,000 workers by 2030. The initiative also seeks to expand the implementation of safety culture practices to supply chain businesses throughout the country, reinforcing Thailand’s commitment to occupational safety.
