Mitsubishi Motors Thailand and MMTh Engine Receive Seven Labour Management Excellence Awards 2024 from the Ministry of Labour

BANGKOK – October 17, 2024: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and MMTh Engine Co., Ltd. recently received a total of seven awards from the Ministry of Labour in conjunction with the Labour Management Excellence Award 2024. They include five Thailand Safety & Health Management Awards and two White Factory Certification Awards.
Mr. Eiji Ogawa, Executive Vice President of Factory Unit, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand said, “We are honored to be recognized by the Ministry of Labour for our dedication in meeting international standards in terms of safety, occupational health, and environmental management in all our facilities. We are also proud to receive two White Factory Certification Awards for establishing the standard in the prevention and solution to drug problems in an establishment. This achievement is the result of the cooperation of all employees. The suggestions and solutions of employees have helped establish the high standards in safety and occupational health within our facilities. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards in safety and occupational health, while creating a safe and efficient working environment for everyone.”
Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and MMTh Engine Co., Ltd. have received a total five Thailand Safety & Health Management Awards for its five facilities. Factory 1 and 2 have received the award for the fifth consecutive year as outstanding establishments, moving from the gold to diamond level. This achievement focuses on the participation of all employees in the establishment, including activities that promote the identification of risks and preventions in the workplace, and emphasizes compliance with legal requirements.
In addition, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and MMTh Engine Co., Ltd. also received two White Factory Certification Awards in recognition of the automaker’s high standards on the prevention and solution of drug problems in its establishment. This certifies that the company has taken steps to maintain a high-level of administration and management to fulfill the standard criteria. Steps taken include activities such as random drug testing, drug searches by K9 police dogs, and campaigns to educate about the dangers of drugs.
