Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Empowers Education in Thailand With Certificates to Project Winners and Interns of the 6th MMTh Talent Internship Program 2024

BANGKOK – December 16, 2024: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently presented

‘Top 5 Internship Project Award’ and Certificates to interns of the 6th MMTh Talent Internship Program 2024. The Talent Internship Program provides university students with opportunities to initiate and create projects that support the company’s development towards excellence. This program encourages students to apply theoretical knowledge to actual working circumstance, promote comprehensive learning beyond the classroom and prepare them for future careers.

 

Mr. Jaroon Banyat, Co-Vice President, People and Environment Strategy Unit, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said, “As a leading automotive company, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand perceives that talent is important in every aspect of the business and its operations, from the back office to the production line and everything in between. The automotive knowledge here goes beyond engineering scope, and hence, our program also includes practical teamwork skills in real-world situations. We remain committed to be the training ground for students to obtain knowledge in the industry via the transfer of expertise and working skills to our interns through the intensive business experiences. Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and winner of the ‘Top 5 The Best Achievement Award with the ‘Safety Improvement Lifter’ project with aims to reduce accidents by 100%, said, “My fellow interns and I are very grateful to the company for giving us the opportunity to participate in this internship. It allowed us to gain real work experiences, which is a valuable addition to our university education. This program played a crucial role in enhancing the knowledge we have acquired. We are proud to have interned here. I will certainly apply the knowledge gained from this internship to my future endeavors.”

Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, said, “The experience gained from the company are beneficial and valuable. The company provided opportunities to practice problem-solving in real-life scenarios, enhancing our knowledge in the field of engineering which we are interested in. We also received guidance from experts in the field, making this internship experience enjoyable and educational. We are very proud to have interned at Mitsubishi Motors Thailand.”

The MMTh Talent Internship Program is a part of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand's educational initiatives, in line with the company’s CSR direction ‘To Contribute and Grow with Thai Society’ that is supported by three pillars including Education, Health, and Environment, serves as a platform and opportunity for university students to apply the theoretical knowledge they have learned to the real-world situations at Mitsubishi Motors Thailand’s state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing facility. During the program, they also received expert guidance from experienced professionals, preparing them for successful careers in the industry in the future.

Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum 2.50 GPA in Faculty of Engineering

- Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA
