Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Celebrates Success with 7 Winners at the 24th Mitsubishi Motors Skills Contest: Connect Expertise, Experience, and Excellence to Customer Impression

BANGKOK – January 31, 2025: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., recently celebrated the achievements of 7 winners of the 24th Mitsubishi Motors Skills Contest 2024 at the Mitsubishi Motors Education Academy. In line with the company’s commitment to constantly enhance the proficiency of dealer staff, both in sales and after-sales services, to deliver best customer impression and provide the exceptional experience to all Mitsubishi Motors customers. This year's competition was organized under the concept of “Connect Expertise, Experience, and Excellence to Customer Impression."

The Mitsubishi Motors Skills Contest encompasses all seven service categories, covering every aspect of customer service. It begins with Sales Consultants (SC) who provide initial product information, understand customer needs, and offer advice on usage and test drives for potential buyers. Customer Relations Officers (CRO) handle notifications and appointment scheduling, while Service Advisors (SA) welcome customers, understand their requirements, and provide tailored guidance and solutions.

 

For vehicle inspections, Periodic Maintenance Technicians (PM Technicians) or Diagnostic Technicians (Diag Techs) coordinate with customers at the service center while Parts Officers (PO) ensure timely preparation of parts to support quality repairs as requested by customers. In cases of damage repairs, Service Advisors (SA-BP) at the body and paint repair center then provide appropriate guidance to deliver the highest quality body and paint repairs to customers.

 

The selection process began in August 2024 and was divided into three rounds. In the first round, over 2,400 dealership employees from across the country participated. From these, 325 personnels were selected to advance to the second round. Ultimately, only 65 top performers were chosen to compete in the final round.

Mr. Sittichai Pamaranon, Sangchai Motor Sales Co., Ltd. (Mae Hia), Chiangmai, the Winner of Sales Consultant Category, said, “I am very excited about this year’s competition. The challenges are quite intense and require real expertise in our field. The most important aspect of being a sales consultant is listening carefully to understand the customer’s needs. Additionally, having a thorough knowledge of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles is crucial to effectively present their performance, and related special benefits which can precisely address the customer needs. This ensures that customers would feel impressed from their first visit to our dealership. The achievement today is a valuable morale booster for me to continue delivering impressive experiences to Mitsubishi Motors customers.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Wattana Duangaobma from Mitsu Auto City Co., Ltd., Bangkok, the winner of the Diagnostic Technician Category, shared his impressions of the Mitsubishi Motors Skills Contest 2024: “I dedicated myself to rigorous training for this competition. This year’s challenge involved the new model, the NEW MITSUBISHI XPANDER HEV, which includes the HEV system. Therefore, I extensively studied the manual and participated in hands-on workshops to ensure accurate diagnosis. I applied my real-world experience by following a systematic approach: when a customer reports an issue, we gather detailed information, confirm the problem, plan and analyze the cause, and perform maintenance according to standards. We also conduct quality control after repairs to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.”
