BANGKOK – December 19, 2024: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently held the second annual ‘Star Camp’ event, once again bringing the celebrated outdoor camping activity from Japan to Thailand. Held at Sometimes I Camp Khao Yai in Nakhon Ratchasima, the event was organized to thank customers and featured fun and unforgettable outdoor experiences for camping enthusiasts and outdoor trip lovers.
Mr. Ryoichi Inaba, President & CEO, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand said, “Organized by Mitsubishi Motors since 1991 or 33 years ago, ‘Star Camp’ is one of the most legendary outdoor camping events in Japan. Thailand is the first and only country to host this event outside of Japan. This year marks the second time we brought ‘Star Camp’ to Thailand."
“’Star Camp’ is one of our CRM or ‘customer relationship management’ activities to offer exclusive experiences to our customers. This event strengthens the essence of ‘Everyday Adventure’ that is our core value to change every day into something exciting and enjoyable for any journey as well as offering safety and comfort for both drivers and passengers of our Mitsubishi cars. We aim that this activity will make our customers feel impressed and proud to be one of Mitsubishi family while enhancing the relationship between us and our customers,” added Mr. Inaba.
This year, ‘Star Camp’ has provided camping facilities to meet a variety of customers’ needs including ready-to-use tents for novice campers and dedicated spaces for seasoned campers who wished to set up their own. Leading outdoor brands, including TJM and Thule, partnered to support outdoor equipment at the event.
Participants also enjoyed a variety of activities across different zones, including TRITON ADVENTURE CAMP, featuring a thrilling ‘Star Camp’ Adventure rock-climbing game that every one of the family can join, PAJERO SPORT HIP CAMP, offering creative workshops like a Bag Stamping and a Windsock Craft Studio inspired by Japanese crafts, XPANDER HEV UNIQUE CAMP, allowing attendees to explore the XPANDER HEV Café, where they could create unique art on beverages including coffee and cocoa and visited the ‘Star Camp’ Photo Spot to capture memories with personalized photo frames.
Additionally, customers experienced the XPANDER HEV TEST DRIVE CHALLENGE, a test drive of MITSUBISHI XPANDER HEV and MITSUBISHI XPANDER CROSS HEV on a natural terrain test track to experience the Mitsubishi e:MOTION.
